1. How many continuing education (CE) credits will I receive?

You’ll earn 300 continuing education (CE) credits after completing the AAID Maxicourse. This extensive CE program meets the requirements to sit for the AAID Associate Fellowship Written Exam, helping you take an important step toward credentialing in implant dentistry.

2. Are there hands-on experiences in this dental implant training course?

Yes! Our dental implant training course includes hands-on learning at every module to complement your lectures. You’ll gain practical experience through:

  • Suturing on pig jaws
  • Implant placement on models
  • Restorative procedures on mannequins in a sim-lab
  • Implant placement, bone grafting, and advanced surgical techniques on cadavers

These sessions help you bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical application, ensuring you develop both technical precision and clinical confidence.

3. How often will I need to travel for the course?

The AAID Maxicourse is divided into 8 learning modules:

  • 6 modules run from Friday to Sunday
  • 2 modules run from Thursday to Saturday

You’ll receive a detailed course schedule in advance, so you can plan your travel and accommodations accordingly.

4. I have already placed implants before. Will I still benefit from this program?

Yes, even experienced implant dentists find great value in the AAID Maxicourse.
This comprehensive implant dentistry CE program takes you through every phase of implant treatment, including:

5. Will I place implants on live patients during the course?

Not during the AAID Maxicourse. This program focuses on simulation-based training and lecture-driven learning.

If you’re seeking live patient surgical experience, we offer this opportunity in our Advanced Surgical Mini-Residency, which is open to graduates of the Maxicourse or those with equivalent implant training.

6. Will this course help me become credentialed with the AAID?

Yes. The AAID Maxicourse is specifically structured to prepare you for the AAID Associate Fellowship Written Exam (Part I).

 You’ll receive:

  • In-depth lectures covering all exam-relevant topics
  • A final review session during the last module
  • Comprehensive study materials and exam preparation support

The course also provides the 300 CE hours required to be eligible for the exam, making it an excellent choice for those pursuing implant dentistry credentialing.

7. I’ve already passed the written exam. Can this program help me prepare for the oral exam?
